Laminate is a photographic timber look on a high-density fibreboard core, with a wear layer that takes the traffic. It is not real timber and it is not rigid-core hybrid. Hybrid uses an SPC or WPC core. Laminate does not. They are different products, specified for different rooms.
Click-lock boards go down over a suitable underlay. Water resistance varies by range. We will tell you which rooms laminate belongs in, and when vinyl or hybrid is the better brief for Gold Coast humidity.

Timber-look laminate
Photographic oak, walnut and Australian hardwood looks on an HDF core. The grain is printed, the wear layer does the work. Compare full planks at Bundall rather than a 10cm sample on a phone.
Wide plank
Longer, wider boards that read more like a contemporary timber floor. Scale matters in Gold Coast open-plan rooms. We will check the look against the room, not just the sample board.
Wear-layer grades
Wear layers are graded for how much traffic they take. Bedrooms, living rooms and holiday lets need different specs. We match the grade to the room rather than selling you a number.
