Carpet is a textile floor. The fibre, the pile and the underlay do the work. Wool is a natural fibre, soft, insulating and a strong choice for bedrooms you live in every day. Solution-dyed nylon (SDN) is colourfast through the fibre, so it copes better with Gold Coast sun, spills and rental turnover.
Underlay is part of the spec, not an afterthought. The right underlay changes comfort, acoustics and how the carpet wears. We specify it with the fibre, not after the fact.

Bedrooms
The room you feel first in the morning. Wool or a soft SDN cut pile, with underlay chosen for comfort rather than a hard floor in the private rooms.
Media rooms
A textile floor absorbs sound. Loop or cut pile, plus a proper underlay, keeps a home theatre quieter than hard flooring next door.
Comfort
Softer underfoot for kids, pets and anyone who lives on the floor. A cushioned spec that hybrid and timber cannot match.
Acoustics
Carpeted bedrooms off a hard-floor living area cut footfall and echo. Plan the transition in studio so the two floors read as one house.
Why carpet on the Gold Coast

Wool for the rooms you live in. Solution-dyed nylon where sun, spills and turnover matter more. We will not put a prestige wool into a holiday let that needs a tougher fibre.
Stairs
Treads take more wear than a bedroom. A denser pile, the right underlay and a clean wrap at the nosing. Planned with the same fibre as the landing so the run reads as one floor.

Wool
A natural fibre with inherent insulation and a soft hand. Loop, twist and cut pile, specified for bedrooms and living rooms you intend to keep. Compare full samples at Bundall rather than a 10cm swatch on a phone.
Solution-dyed nylon
Colour is locked in the fibre, so SDN holds up to sun, spills and high turnover. A practical spec for family homes, rentals and rooms that take more traffic than a wool bedroom.
Patterned
Textured loop, geometric and two-tone piles that hide footprints and add quiet pattern. Chosen in studio light so the scale works with the room, not just the sample board.
