Our story
Built as a studio, not a warehouse shop
Richard runs Evolved Floors. We grew by specifying the right floor for the rooms, then laying it with our own installers. That is still the job.
The public Gold Coast studio is at Bundall, 3/99 Ashmore Road. Byron Bay is at Habitat Precinct, 1 Porter Street. If you are in Brisbane, we will call you and visit the site, then you can see the floor at Bundall or Byron.
Molendinar (Unit 4, 6 Enterprise St) is the trade counter, by appointment. It is not the public studio.
How a project runs
A studio visit is time in Bundall or Byron with the boards. It is not an in-home measure.

Consult
Gold Coast and Byron: come in and walk the floors. If you are in Brisbane, we will call you and visit the site, then you can see the floor at Bundall or Byron. Get an approximate price first if you want a ballpark.

Site visit
We measure, check the subfloor and lock the spec. This is the site visit, after your studio visit.

Install
Our own team lays the floor. One plan from studio to install, including transitions, stairs and herringbone set-out.

Two public studios at Bundall and Byron. Molendinar is trade only. If you are in Brisbane, we will call you and visit the site, then you can see the floor at Bundall or Byron.
Bundall studio
Walk hybrid, timber, carpet, vinyl and herringbone in real light. Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm. Saturday 9am to 1pm.

Humidity, sand, storms and holiday traffic change the spec. We will tell you when hybrid belongs, and when timber, vinyl or carpet is the better room.
